Students Return Back to School September 5, 2019! Doors open at 8:00 am – NEW START and end times for Bronx Latin the school day will be 8:24 a.m. – 2:44 p.m.

523988_10102239454771560_2125255785_nParents, teachers, and students all return back for the first day of classes on Thursday September 5, 2019! We would like to extend a warm welcome to all of our new 6th and 9th grade students, and welcome back our 7, 8, 10, 11, and 12th graders! Our 6th and 9th grade new student orientations will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 from 3:30 – 4:30 pm.

For the 2019 – 20 school year, the Bronx Latin schedule will be changing with a new start time of 8:24 am. Doors will open every morning at 8:00 am. The school day will end at 2:44 pm.

Dress Code for Middle School Students: 

Young Women: Middle school young women will wear white polo/cphoto 1 (5)ollared shirts; tan or beige uniform skirt to the knee (no mini-skirts); solid tan uniform slacks.  Skirts and slacks (no jeans or sweat pants) must be worn at the waist and in an appropriate size.  Jeans are not permitted.  Solid black shoes or solid black sneakers must be worn.  Sweaters and hoodies may be worn, however they MUST be solid black and hoods may not be worn on head.  Clothing worn under the uniform, such as tights or long-sleeve shirts, must either be solid black or solid white.

Jeans are not permitted.  Solid black shoes or solid black sneakers must be worn.  Sweaters and hoodies may be worn, but they MUST be solid black and hoods may not be worn on head.  Clothing worn under the uniform, such as long-sleeve shirts must either be solid black or solid white.

  • Backpack
  • 3-ring binder (1 inch)
  • #2 pencils
  • Pens: Black or Blue
  • Eraser
  • Glue stick
  • Loose leaf notebook paper
  • Graph paper ( for grades 8 – 12)
  • Highlighters
  • Pencil sharpener (small)
  • Ruler
  • Pocket folders (about 7 or one per class)
  • Spiral Notebooks (about 4 or one for Math, Science, Social Studies, English)
  • Optional: Planner (but you should really have one!)

* More supplies may be added after the first day of school, depending on the needs of the classes
